Top event "EuroTier" a complete success
Last week, the world's most important exhibition for professional animal husbandry ended with a record number of visitors. With around 160,000 visitors, more farmers and trade visitors traveled to Hanover for EuroTier 2012 than ever before. With more than 2,450 exhibitors from over 50 countries, the number of exhibiting companies was around a quarter higher than two years earlier.
And the mood in agriculture is good. The local exhibitors also felt this. The company Möller from Diepholz, manufacturer of ventilation, heating and regulation technology for the climate control of pig and poultry plants, has been involved for decades. During the visit of the Bundestag member Axel Knoerig, who visited the fair together with a small local delegation, Möller sales manager Philipp Rohmeier reported a whole series of new inquiries. "Energy-saving ventilation systems, hot water heating systems to use the waste heat from biogas plants and exhaust air purification systems - these are the issues," confirmed Rohmeier.
Knoerig was also enthusiastic about the new development of a climate computer for pigsties, which was developed by Möller in cooperation with the University of Bonn. “With the help of this climate computer, it will be possible for the first time that pigs set the temperatures in their stall compartments themselves,” explained technician Oliver Stickan. This is made possible by a trick. The pigs receive a choice of different water temperatures for their drinking water. For example, if the pigs increasingly prefer cold water, this behavior indicates 'heat stress' and the compartment temperatures are automatically reduced.
The installation of photovoltaic systems is still very much in vogue. "Since the photovoltaic prices are currently low and the production costs of solar power are now well below the consumer electricity tariffs, the self-consumption of self-generated solar power is becoming more and more interesting," explained Manuel Rohlfs, photovoltaic salesman at Möller. At the fair Möller therefore showed the latest developments for solutions to increase self-consumption as well as intelligent energy storage systems. Möller has been planning, projecting and installing photovoltaic systems in the region for more than 10 years.
Möller now also has a branch in the Czech Republic as well as agencies in Lithuania, Hungary, Poland, Russia and Japan. Today the company employs over 80 people in the business areas of agricultural climate control, photovoltaics, electrical installation and industrial automation. Visible signs of the expansion of the Heeder company are two new buildings on the “Im Fange” site, where the company, which was founded 29 years ago, will pool its activities in the future. The completion of the new office building and the third hall with warehouse, production and workshop is expected in spring 2013. “We'll see each other again at the opening ceremony at the latest,” emphasized company founder Dieter Möller when the delegation said goodbye.

Carry out an e-check and secure a reward of up to 50 euros
The E-CHECK: Good for every home
Nothing works for us without electricity ... Electric power is taken for granted everywhere these days, but the problem is: You can't see it. That is why the risks it poses are often underestimated. Even a small defect can cause great damage. Therefore the E-CHECK! Only those who check regularly can be sure: The E-CHECK is the recognized, standard-compliant test of all electrical systems and devices in the house or apartment: It documents their proper condition according to a specified test catalog.
What are the risks?
An E-CHECK enables hazards to be identified before damage can occur. Faults in the electrical installation can cause overvoltage or short circuits and not only cause expensive damage, but also have life-threatening consequences for people and pets - for example in the event of a fire.
And if there is nothing to complain about,
you will receive the E-CHECK sticker– and with it the certainty that the tested electrical installation and the tested electrical devices meet all safety aspects.
But if something happens anyway,
you can use the E-CHECK to prove to your insurance company that the electrical system and devices are in perfect condition.
How do I get up to 50 euros?
Ask your energy supplier. Stadtwerke Huntetal, for example, gives you 30 euros, EWE rewards you with 40 euros and the city of Bassum / Twistringen even supports you with 50 euros.

Möller on course for expansion
A visible sign of the expansion course are two new buildings on the "Im Fange" site, where Möller has had a central warehouse with 2,500 m² since 1999, as well as a plastic and ceiling insulation panel production facility. On October 18, 2012, the first major construction phase was celebrated with a successful topping-out ceremony. In addition to the mayor, representatives of the planning and construction companies involved and the district savings bank, neighbors and friends, the company's own employees were also invited to this event.
After Mr. Möller had inspected the topping-out wreath tied by the Heeder neighborhood, master carpenter Fred Kastens determined from a dizzying height that a beautiful work had been done. Builders, journeymen and masters with axes and trowels as well as the architect received three cheers and a hearty “cheers”.
The Möller Group is investing 3.5 million euros at the Heede location in the new 1,000m² office building and the meanwhile third warehouse with combined production for the control engineering and electronics departments and a new workshop for repair and maintenance.

Möller company learns to help properly
Many people are still of the opinion that the emergency services or medical emergency services are responsible for helping in the event of an accident and forget that almost always the right help in the first few minutes - until the emergency service arrives - for the severity of the consequences of the accident or even for survival can be decisive.
The entire Möller workforce was trained by the German Red Cross on a total of five dates. The topics were among others:
