Our 19-meter-high fir tree decorates the Rathausmarkt

Since 1999, the Nordmann fir has been the Möller family's Christmas tree

On Thursday, November 26th, 2020 the fir was sawed off by the employees of the municipal building yard and transported to the town hall. Just in time for the 1st Advent, the finished tree is there and decorates the Diepholz town hall market in the run-up to Christmas.

The support group Lebendiges Diepholz organized the campaign and was actively supported by the city of Diepholz. This year the organizers also received support from the MÖLLER company, which donated the tree.

Möller employees are promoted

Funding by the European Union and the State of Lower Saxony

No country in Germany is as diverse and regionally different as Lower Saxony. This diversity is a major challenge for the state's funding policy when it comes to safeguarding and improving the quality of life and the environment, economic efficiency, work and services of general interest.

Against the background of demographic change, the state government of Lower Saxony is opening up new design perspectives for the regions in order to be able to use EU funds in a targeted manner, particularly in line with regional needs. For this purpose, around 2.1 billion euros in EU funds from the ESF, ERDF and EAFRD funds are available in Lower Saxony for the funding period 2014 to 2020.

In this context, two employees of the MÖLLER company are funded by the European Social Fund.

Graduate – industrial specialist (IHK) for PLC technology

From February 18 to December 16, 2019, Mr. Marek Meyer took the course "IHK industrial specialist for PLC technology" at the Academy of Dr. Jürgen and Irmgard Ulderup Foundation. In addition to the job, students spent almost a full year studying at school until late in the evening. During the normal class days, he and his classmates also had to pass 3 exams. This exhausting year has come to an end and all participants can proudly claim to have successfully passed the demanding course.

The course is divided into, the basic level, the advanced level and the user level, each of which ends with an examination.

In the basic level, the basics of the PLC are explained, the program WinSPS-S7 is suggested to the participants, as well as different data types and basic operations in S7. This level is rounded off with small programming exercises.

In the advanced level, you begin with the planning of PLC systems and step chain programming, put the S7-300 controller into operation and learn how the controller is networked with the MPI or Profibus. In this stage, errors are finally analyzed with the help of the Siemens S7 software.

The user level is the last level. Here you work quite independently, but you are still taught the programming in Graph 7, as well as the operating mode switching and analog value processing. As soon as all of this has been processed, the last thing to do is to program a panel to get a little interesting insight.
