Feed aisle ventilation
The feed aisle ventilation is a simple type of air supply, but it requires a sure instinct and experience.
Slot ventilation
Ceiling supply air elements made of hard-wearing hard foam plastic panels with manual slide valve on the underside (DZE 1) or with 2 pull-wire actuating flaps (DZE 2).
Jet ventilation

Trickle channels and diffuse ceiling
Areas of application for the trapezoidal ventilation ceiling are large-scale stable buildings and compartments with insulated roof cladding. The perforated panels are fastened directly under the ceiling, 2 layers of mineral wool are placed between the binders, one layer with a laminated fleece surface. The fresh air supplied from the roof space is distributed over the entire supply air ceiling and reaches the animal area evenly. The mineral wool prevents the warm stable air from penetrating back into the roof space. The laminated surface slows the absorption of moisture by the mineral wool, for example when washing the compartments.
Nasal ventilation
Nasal vents are mainly used in farrowing compartments. In most cases, a combination of trickle cover and nasal ventilation pipes is used. In winter, the air flows out of the trickle cover and in summer, nasal ventilation pipes, which end about 1.2m above the crevices, are also opened. The fresh air flows directly to where it is needed, to the sow's head. The piglets do not come into contact with the cold supply air.
Difference to the ZEW 1500:
The new ZWK 1 supply air wall flap is controlled by a cable pull and is used for outside feeding aisles.
The number of elements as well as the distance from the wall and the width of the ceiling slot depend on the required volume flow and the length of the section.

The perforated ventilation plate made of PVC or plastic-coated EPS core is available in thicknesses of 25mm and 40mm. The outer layer of the perforated inlet plate is available in thicknesses of 0.3mm, 0.7mm and 1mm. On request, it can also be supplied with a GRP cover layer.
